This fantastic car has to be seen (and heard) to be fully appreciated. We've owned this for just over 3 years and it has been respectfully driven and maintained up to, and during, our ownership.
This is a well maintained example with minimal further maintenance expected to keep it in great condition (hence price). Before our ownership it had a fully stamped service book from Aston Martin dealerships only, but not fully trusting AM dealerships we decided to alternate between renowned Aston Martin Specialist Bamford Rose and Aston Martin Pangbourne to maintain it more recently.
If you know these cars then you will know that they can be subject to a variety of costly problems which good servicing and regular usage will generally prevent. We've averaged around 3000 miles per year, and driven it on the best days throughout the winter as well as throughout the summer.
Service history and maintenance is shown in the image and comes with pretty much all receipts and records since 2016, and all stamps in the service book since original purchase.
Now, you could trust a dealership to be truthful about a car they're trying to profit on, or you can review the meticulous details provided by Bamford Rose in Jan '26 when you come to view. To be as fair as possible there is some expected maintenance to be aware of, which any specialist car of this age would need, but hopefully I provide transparency and you can give the potential costs some consideration in advance:
- The most notable is the rear subframe, which Bamford Rose says is showing some signs of surface corrosion and best to be done in the next couple of years, to avoid it getting worse and not being reusable on their swap and refurbish basis.
- One of the door mirror brackets paint is coming off due to corrosion, it is not that noticeable and was never significant enough to warrant us dealing with it.
- The drivers heated seat works, but only the base, the back pad does not appear to heat or if it does, it takes a long time to warm up.
- There is some condensation in the drivers rear light cluster which hasn't caused an issue electrically so far, it could do with being removed, drilled, ventilated, resealed and refitted.
Find an equivalent DB9 car that is in this good condition with this amount of investment for a better price and I'll consider matching that price, but don't waste my time suggesting that a lemon you've found online is maintained to this standard just because the seller claims it has FAMSH.

We've owned this for just over 3 years and it has been respectfully driven and maintained up to, and during, our ownership.\n\nThis is a well maintained example with minimal further maintenance expected to keep it in great condition (hence price). Before our ownership it had a fully stamped service book from Aston Martin dealerships only, but not fully trusting AM dealerships we decided to alternate between renowned Aston Martin Specialist Bamford Rose and Aston Martin Pangbourne to maintain it more recently. \n\nIf you know these cars then you will know that they can be subject to a variety of costly problems which good servicing and regular usage will generally prevent. We've averaged around 3000 miles per year, and driven it on the best days throughout the winter as well as throughout the summer.\n\nService history and maintenance is shown in the image and comes with pretty much all receipts and records since 2016, and all stamps in the service book since original purchase.\n\nNow, you could trust a dealership to be truthful about a car they're trying to profit on, or you can review the meticulous details provided by Bamford Rose in Jan '26 when you come to view. To be as fair as possible there is some expected maintenance to be aware of, which any specialist car of this age would need, but hopefully I provide transparency and you can give the potential costs some consideration in advance:\n- The most notable is the rear subframe, which Bamford Rose says is showing some signs of surface corrosion and best to be done in the next couple of years, to avoid it getting worse and not being reusable on their swap and refurbish basis.\n- One of the door mirror brackets paint is coming off due to corrosion, it is not that noticeable and was never significant enough to warrant us dealing with it.\n- The drivers heated seat works, but only the base, the back pad does not appear to heat or if it does, it takes a long time to warm up.\n- There is some condensation in the drivers rear light cluster which hasn't caused an issue electrically so far, it could do with being removed, drilled, ventilated, resealed and refitted.\n\nFind an equivalent DB9 car that is in this good condition with this amount of investment for a better price and I'll consider matching that price, but don't waste my time suggesting that a lemon you've found online is maintained to this standard just because the seller claims it has FAMSH.",
